This morning I walked into the office to find Zinashi fitting two tiny file folder labels together into a little rectangle. "What's that for?" I asked.
"Bill was just born, and he doesn't have his eyes open yet." Oh, eyelids. I...never would have thought of that, actually.
We've been pretty unschool-y in our homeschool lately. It's been necessary. I've worried sometimes that we are not doing enough, or that we'll get a big F in homeschooling, but then she gets up in the morning and knows exactly what she needs to make eyelids for her baby fox, and I think, "Oh, well, I guess we're doing all right."
I have a lot more to say about homeschooling, but I'm going to let it simmer a little while longer. For now I'll just say it's good.

ReplyDeletewe are WAY more unschooly than I ever thought I'd be. I have been hitting the books harder in the last 6 weeks but I totally understand with going with the flow.
