I've been shopping for clothes in the next size up for Zinashi so that I won't be caught unprepared for the next growth spurt. We're primarily doing dresses and leggings because it's easy and comfortable. I'm going to miss outfits like this, though. How will she be able to pull off her usual look if I don't provide more options? She's just going to have to accessorize.

Go to Goodwill! You can give her x dollars (maybe $5) and say - you can buy anything you want in here. Then show her how some tags have discounts (50%) and that she can buy two discounted items for the price of one non-discounted item. For $5 she could easily buy 2-3 complete outfits. You can include this in your homeschooling curriculum for math as teaching budgeting skills. :)
ReplyDeleteSo hard to keep up with these bean poles! I was so happy to finally have enough shoes that fit for everyone! But I got out of the house this morning for church and realized my oldest's pants were an inch too short! His shoes looked great, though!
ReplyDeleteLove it. She has great taste, like you. Save that one ebay exception.
